Omar Al Sayed
Visual artist. Activist. Keeper of memory.
Omar Al Sayed is a Palestinian visual artist and activist whose work is rooted in heritage, resilience, and the longing for return. Born and raised in the Rashidieh refugee camp in southern Lebanon, his family’s story began with displacement during the Nakba—and continues through his art.
Now based in Denmark, Omar remains deeply connected to Palestine and the camp that shaped him. Through his illustrations, he pays tribute to the strength of his people and preserves the spirit of collective memory, resistance, and hope.
His art is a home for stories that refuse to be forgotten.
