Neha Ayub is a self-taught illustrator and writer based in Kerala, India, with a background in Comparative Literature from the University of Hyderabad. Her academic training informs her creative work, where layered narratives and visual storytelling explore themes of memory, migration, and representation.

Her recent projects include the award-winning documentary When Pomegranate Turns Grey (Special Mention, Film South Asia 2024) and the cover illustration for Languages of Minority by Sowmya Dechamma (Oxford University Press).

Through illustration, writing, and animation, Neha constructs nuanced, archival-inspired works that bring overlooked histories and emotions into quiet focus.
