How can I contact the authors?
You can email the authors at hello@tinytraveller.co. You will usually receive a reply within a few days.
In which currency are prices shown, and is tax included?
You can shop in multiple currencies on our website. At checkout you can select GBP, EUR or USD, or we may suggest a currency based on your location. All prices are shown inclusive of any applicable VAT or local sales taxes, unless stated otherwise.
For customers in the United Kingdom, printed books are generally zero‑rated for VAT, while other products such as games or merchandise may be subject to the standard VAT rate; for customers in the EU, local VAT rules apply. Payments in these currencies are processed securely via our payment provider Mollie, which supports multi‑currency payments including GBP, EUR and USD.
Shipping and delivery
Who ships my order?
Our stock is held at our fulfilment partner Handling with Care in the Netherlands, a specialist with long experience in fulfilment, hand packing and postal shipping. They pack and ship all Tiny Traveller Books orders to customers in the United Kingdom and across Europe on our behalf.
Which carriers do you use?
Depending on the weight, size and destination of your order, we ship with trusted European carriers such as PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS and similar parcel services. For deliveries to the United Kingdom, final delivery is usually handled by Royal Mail or another local courier partner.
Will my book fit through the letterbox?
Smaller orders that fit through the letterbox are sent as letterbox mail wherever possible. Larger or heavier orders are sent as parcels, typically with tracking. The available shipping options for your order are shown at checkout.
What are the delivery times?
Estimated delivery times are:
- Within most EU countries: usually 2–5 working days after dispatch.
- To the United Kingdom: usually 3–7 working days after dispatch, depending in part on customs processing.
These delivery times are indicative. During peak seasons, holidays or carrier disruptions, deliveries can take longer than expected.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on:
- the destination country;
- the weight and size of your order;
- the shipping method you choose (for example, standard or tracked).
You will always see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you confirm and pay.
Will I have to pay customs or import charges?
For deliveries within the EU, customers usually do not pay extra import duties on books. For deliveries to the United Kingdom or other non‑EU countries, local customs or import charges may apply and can be charged by the carrier or customs; these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Ordering and payment
How do I place an order?
To buy a book, click the “Add to cart” or “Buy now” button, then enter your shipping details, choose your shipping method and select your preferred payment method. After confirming your order, you will receive an order confirmation email with all the details.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely via our payment provider Mollie, one of Europe’s leading payment platforms. Depending on your country and chosen currency, we offer several options, for example:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express);
- Apple Pay and/or Google Pay (where available);
- PayPal;
- iDEAL (for customers in the Netherlands)
- Bancontact (for customers in Belgium);
- SOFORT Banking and other local methods where available.
Our business bank account is with Monzo Bank in the United Kingdom, but all online payments are handled by Mollie so that you always check out securely and easily.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. All payments are processed securely by Mollie in line with current security and privacy standards (including PCI‑DSS for card payments). Your full payment details are not stored by Tiny Traveller Books.
Cancellations and returns
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, you can cancel it by emailing hello@tinytraveller.co with your order number as soon as possible. If your order has already been dispatched, you can use your right to cancel and return the products after delivery.
Can I return my order?
You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it, as long as the products are unused and in their original condition and packaging. This 14‑day cooling‑off period applies to consumer orders within the United Kingdom and the European Union. The direct cost of returning the products is normally at your expense, unless the items are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
How quickly will I receive my refund?
Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund the purchase price as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after we receive your return. Where required by law, we will also refund the original outbound shipping cost for the cheapest standard delivery option when you return your whole order.
What if my book is damaged, misprinted or the wrong item?
If a book does not arrive, arrives damaged, has a printing error or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible—preferably within one working day of delivery in case of transport damage—by emailing bestellingen@tinytraveller.co. In the case of faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, we will arrange a replacement or refund, including reasonable return shipping costs.

What if I have a complaint or suggestion?
If you have a complaint, a problem with your order or a suggestion on how we can improve our books or service, please let us know at hello@tinytraveller.co. You will receive a substantive response as soon as possible and within a reasonable timeframe.
